If you want a smile for the day.....

A little bit of everything.

Lexie's picture of our family. Some of those things actually look like people!
Another picture by Lexie. I'm just so happy that she's wanting to color because for the longest time she wouldn't. She was afraid of making a mistake or that it didn't look good. Now she just goes to town coloring all over the place.

Harper in the jolly jumper, dancing with Lexie. They both just love this thing.

Getting ready to go outside with Dad in the dark. My little worker!

Brad and Lexie.

Harper with her new hat. Thanks to Lexie, she looks like she's part of the Shriner's.

Harper relaxing. Her face is clearing up nicely now.

Lexie's Christmas Video

Christmas 2008

This Christmas season has been so much fun and also very busy for our family. Brad and I counted that we had gone to 7 or 8 different functions or had company over, just in the month of December alone. That is definitely a record for us. It was so much fun though, and we always enjoy getting to see family and friends.
Now for the pictures! You'll get to see our Christmas season in reverse because I always forget to put the pictures in the right order.

Our Christmas day must of been so much fun because Alexa fell asleep at the kitchen table right after supper.
I decided that I wanted something alittle different this year for supper and decided that Chinese food would be good. I got some of the food from M&Ms and then the rest I made from scratch. It was intense cooking for 2 straight hours as compared to all day cooking for a tradtional supper. I actually couldn't eat very much of it because by that time I didn't feel like eatting it. Leftovers were good though!

Christmas morning for Harper. This is at around 6:30 am.

Lexie with her waterguns. Santa had a hard time finding those in December! Ha ha!

Some other gifts that Lexie got.

More gifts!

Harper with her Santa hat. I made these this year hoping that we could make them a tradtion in our family. They managed to make it through this year.

The tree Christmas morning just before Lexie got to it.

Our gingerbread house and train. These were fun to make. The house was a little bit of a pain because of the icing and almost ended up on the front lawn but I managed to keep my patience long enough to save it.

Putting the house together the night before we decorated it.

Having a taste of icing.

Yummy! Not so much!

Playing "Catch the tires." Just like that other game "Catch the fish." There has been some screaming at this game and not just by Alexa!

Me in my Santa hat.

Brad in his Santa hat.

Hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and New Year's and that 2009 is a great year for everyone. May you be blessed in everything you want to accomplish.
